Warford Trans

I have a Warford trans I got with a AA truck awhile back that I'm not going to use and I'm getting ready to sell. I believe it is a 1928 to early '29 unit and I know the general value. I want to be sure I advertise it correctly. It turns freely and the shifter doesn't feel stuck but it doesn't seem to go into any gear. Could be operator error? SN is 153066 with Pat. Dates of 1911, 1913 and 1925. Is it what I perceive it to be? Anything else I need to know?
Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi Tom,
Maybe take the top off and look at the gears.
Is that the one that was at the Devore Model T swap meet?

I'll do that Bob. I wasn't able to go to Devore and I'm not sure if my buddy took it or not.

dual highs can be finicky if they have the old sludge oil in them. you may have to slowly rotate the input and try to shift at the same time.

I'm not that familiar with these but it appears to be either a 3 speed or 4 speed? I've attached some more pictures. Insides look good and everything seems to move smoothly. After removing the top cover( same S/N as the box) it shifted fine. I guess I didn't have enough cajohns to move it with out having it anchored down.
Al, I'm located in SoCal in a city called La Verne. Looking to get 8 out of it. Can ship by Fastenal at your cost.
Thanks everyone and if there are things I need to take pictures of just let me know.
Tom

looks good, yea that old oil can become more glue like as it ages. The warford is a beauty of a thing, its 3 different gear ratios: underdrive, 1:1 then overdrive. The ford dual high is realy a underdrive gearbox, only underdrive and 1:1 positions with them.

It is an Over/Direct/Under-drive.
