On the 29 torque tube in back of the drive shaft bearing, there is a grease seal, I would like to replace it. does it come out the back? If it comes out the front, how do I remove the bearing race? On the outside of the torque tube there's something that looks like a freeze plug, does that have anything to do with retaining the race?

that tool will drive the seal and bearing race out - you MUST remove the snapring first! it all comes out the u joint sidehence the 5" pipe measurement as seen in neils pic...

Re: torque grease seal
Great reply, I had a 5' piece of 3/4 pipe but no reducer, so I used a thick flat washer 1/4" x 1.750" od, the seal and the race came right out, it was easy.
