I was lurking on ebay the other day and discovered that a ujoint for a 35 - 39 Ford 3/4 and 1 ton truck has 6 spline front and 10 spline rear holes that are about the same. I say about, because when I asked the seller to measure the spine diameters, they responded with numbers very close to what i measured on my AA rear ujoint. Has anyone ever looked into the use of these other ujoints as alternatives??

Re: Rear Ujoint Alternative
I found two on ebay. 38-39 1 ton with 3-speed and 35-39 with 4-speed. I don't think they would work.
Your rear u-joint should be about 4 1/2" long and I measured one like the 4-speed one and it is 5 3/4" long.
Also the 1.5 ton trucks went to 1 3/8" drive shaft in 1932, not sure about the one ton.
