Holes in Frame - which are correct?

Hi,

Does anyone know which holes are correct in the top rail of a 1931 AA frame?

Some holes are pretty symmetric between both sides, but some seem random.

On the left frame rail top going from the rear end to the 3rd cross member there are 10 holes and 11 holes on the right.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi,
I have a long WB 31 and it has 9 5/8" holes on each side. I'm sure they were tooling holes for fabricating the frame. The holes you have in the same pattern ends right behind the last cross member. Don't know what to think about the other holes.

What body goes on the chassis, I see it has three running board brackets for the long running boards.

Hi,

I do not know which body was on the chassis originally. You are right that it had the long running boards. The first 2 running board supports are riveted to the chassis, the third one is bolted on.

I was going to make a flat bed for the chassis from frame pieces I bought from another Model AA.
