AA Ford toe in

The specification for Ford Model A toe-in is 1/16" measured 6" above the floor. I am thinking that the AA should be little more, due to the larger diameter wheels: say 3/32". Or am I splitting hairs? What is the collective wisdom for AA toe-in? I plan to use a chalk line on the tread surface for taking the measurements, or maybe modifying an old surveyor's level rod (from a past life) for taking the measurements to the inside of the tires.

The February 1936 Service Bulletins show 3/32" for the AA.

I thought it was at the center line of the wheel, not 6" off the floor. Hairs split.

Look at the link to Marco's site, you can see the 6" chains on the toe gauge just touching the floor.

My 1931 Bear alignment book shows 1/32 toe in for 1928-29 AA's and 1/32 to 3/32 for the 1930-31's. The difference in these could be caused by the different caster specs. The caster for the 28-29 AA's is 1 degree and the 30-31 AA's is 3 1/2 degrees. The size of the rear tires could also make a difference (6.00 X 20 balloon tires for dual rear wheeled compared to 32X6 high pressure for single rear wheeled trucks).
