oily rear brakes

Looks like I will need new hub seals for the '28 AA. See attached photo. The question is whether or not I will need to replace seals at the inner end of the axle. The other question is: does the outer axle bearing get lubricated from the oil in the differential or by periodic packing with grease?
I have new linings to install after the paint dries on the shoes and the drums need a light skim on the lathe.
The left rear backing plate suffered some damage at the bottom and the drum has chafed through in a couple of places. I think that I can hammer it true and fill the voids with some welded steel. If anyone has a decent left rear backing plate to spare, that might be another option.
i am getting closer to having a truck that will take less than a half mile to come to a stop.
