Does anyone know of a shop in the SF Bay area that rewinds generators?

Hi Ron,

Have you tried calling Gilroy Generator? They are an old school shop and we've used them for many years for our farm equipment and Model A's. Google them for the info - hopefully they can help!

Ron , It would be cheaper for you to rebuild the generator yourself. You can buy all the necessary parts to rebuild. Check the prices before you decide. Shelby, Sacramento

I want to convert my generator to 12 volts. I know I could use an alternator but want my original converted.
