I am planning to do my top soon and I assembled my truck from a basket case. Question is first layers burlap, chicken wire, batting then top ? Also has anyone seen articles on tacks ,screws, welting, rain gutters and how material is fold over at rear corners? My truck is a driver not for show and I dont want top to look like Jefro Clampett did it. HELP

This link has a lot of pictures that Marco posted on the 82-A top. http://abarnyard.com/temp/82-a/
There is no chicken wire on the top.

Do study the pictures at http://abarnyard.com/temp/82-a/. There is a black duck type material above the wood bows, then padding, and finally the top material. Don't forget the welt attached to the perimeter of the wood (1st). The job will not look correct without this welt. I don't think the vendors include this with their kits.

The sun visor is another challenge to get it covered correctly.
