Rear body bolt location and seat pan

Post by mikeg »

My cab floor was a rusted mess so I installed a new seat pan and bottom rear section of the cab (along with rear cab corners and bottom).

I don't recall exactly where the seat frame gets fastened to the floor plan, seems to fit better with the body to frame bolts just in front though having a notch would allow the front flange of the seat frame to rest on the floor pan better. Was the original notched? How was it fastened to the floor pan?

There are two seat frames, an early and late. I have both and they are each notched for the body bolt.
Here is a picture from Snyder's showing the two seat frames.
