Big r has them here for $4.99

I thought there was some discrepency about if its supposed to be 44 or 43 inches so the generator doesnt contact the water pipe...

https://www.macsautoparts.com/store/model-a-specs-2/

says 43" (42 7/8")

I can't say anything about hitting the water pipe, but the 44 works just fine on mine...

Theres like 7-9 different shaped water pipes over the years to accommodate different generators and running changes. You may have gotten one where the generator is free to swivel out more - usually its the rear of the gen that hits the hard water pipe.

There were some guys saying the 43 wont fit - it does, sometimes have to get creative to slip over the deep grooved pullies or what some do is loosen the generator pulley, slip the belt on the bare pulley then reattach it to the generator.
