HOW DO YOU SHIFT A WARFORD ON THE FLY?

Post by birdacre »

no one offered any ideas? hope this catches attention. to go from direct to overdrive what is the method. transmission neutral, warford neutral, clutch let out? maybe only neutral for warford, maybe only neutral for transmission? what is the correct way. i know how to split shift a 2 speed rearend, this has me puzzled. please describe your successful method. should be able to go right through gears, 1 direct 1 OD, 2 direct 2 OD etc. any ideas from warford owners.

In your other post you just said it doesn't want to shift, does that mean it won't come out of direct or it grinds
going from neutral to over?

i was trying from direct to over and it moves but grinds, i didn't want to force it. should i have transmission in neutral? should i put warford in neutral first and let clutch out with both trans and warford in neutral for a second? i hope i am not confusing. please describe based on this how you do it. kevin
