How much grease should I add to the rear end? (Bevel Gear)

Post by s147881 »

I have the 30-31 bevel gear rear end and was wondering how much grease to add? I think it takes the 600 weight. Thanks in advance.

The rear axle should be filled with oil up to the filler plug hole. And, if you add too much, let it run out before replacing the plug.

I have never seen a specification on the quality of oil used.
