Find some pictures, Estimate the dimensions, then calculate the Gallons.. But you really don't care how many Gal.
You want to know what size tank!! As usual, I'm no help..

The AA truck is a 1 1/2 ton truck; that's 3000 pounds load. A gallon of fuel oil weights 8.2 pounds. Divide it into 3000 gives you roughly 366.

You forgot to add the weight of the tank itself.

Ford determined that the truck with the flat bed and racks could handle 1 1/2 ton load. Presumably a tank would replace the flat bed so a comparison of the two body weights might be considered. Don't wish to flog a dead horse here. Best, Ed

Don't forget to and one thousand pounds if you have dual wheels.
