Light Switch?

I need some input from forum members. In my 1929 AA closed cab a switch was installed on the dash rail to the left of the steering wheel. Does anyone know what accessory this might have been used for. Thanks! Image

Could have been a lot of things.
How about a light on the rear of the truck that said OK TO PASS

I say that because I have a vintage one that I'm going to install on mine this spring.

The 'Ok to Pass" light is an interesting idea. Do you have a picture? Where was the light located?
The truck has the original manual windshield wiper. Dash light could be a possibility, but it seems an odd place to put it.

This AA is a hand crank dump truck, similar to a 202-A or 202-B. The tail light was on the left rear frame, not on the cab as in later models.
Attached are a couple of pictures. One shows the release and crank handles, the other shows the crank gears. I have yet to see a picture of this exact setup. Could be that this was done by a 3rd party supplier.

Thanks for the input.
