AAC Hub Caps

Post by Downunder Rob »

Hi All.
I am looking at producing replica Hub Caps to suit AAC Disc and Wooden wheel trucks.
Looking to produce them out of 6061Aluminium CNC machined and then polished.
I have had them priced and they would be $AUD1000 for a set of 4.
Be aware that the cap for a wooden wheel is different to a disk wheel. The script, dia and height changes.
If there is interest please contact me.
Attached are pics of the two types of caps and 3d printed replicas used to check script and sizing.

Hello Rob, I have a '29 AAC with the wood spoke wheels. Sure could use some hubcaps for it. Not familiar with the exchange rate to covert your dollars to US dollars though. My truck has the Brandtford cab and grain body.

The Ford Motor Co takes a dim view of people using the Ford name on items for sale. To use the "Ford name" permission must had from the company and a fee paid. Those great Ford shop coats are no longer available as the manufacturer could not handle this fee. I recommend checking with the company before spending money on making a replacement item with "Ford" on it. Good luck.
