wish I had a metal latch, I would turn them out my truck needs them also

Hi,
Has anyone found a supplier for metal door cardboard sockets?
I have the plastic ones, but I would prefer the thinner metal ones in the picture Neil posted above, if I can find them.

I redid the interior of my AA a couple of years ago. I agree that I would like the original metal sockets for the retaining pins but I was unable to find them. I darkened the plastic ones and used them. I don't even notice them. You may want to assemble the door now and if someone makes or comes across some new or good used original style, you can always change them out.
