Warford shift lever ball

I'm curious if others with Warfords have flat spots around the shift lever ball like I have on mine. I think that it adds a nice look to it.

Hmmm... either no one else has a Warford or folks don't have the "balls" to reply.

The one I have the top half of the ball is broken off but what is left of the bottom is round.
The picture on page 134 of the A.G. McMillan book is round also.

I believe the Warford shift lever ball is like the A chassis. I like the one in your photo. Is it metal?

It has the same heft and feel as the standard shift balls but yes it is metal. Didn't realize that until you asked and I put a magnet to it.
