faster AA ford

Post by erwin »

Hi, me again.

Has anyone had any experience in installing a Mitchell overdrive in the torque tube of a 29 AA truck?
Any idea about the possibilities or the difficulties in doing so?
All suggestions welcome at v.erwin@belgacom.net
Any other means of making the truck go a little faster would be welcome;

Erwin.

I think it would be much better to install any overdrive in to the coupling shaft area. It just seem that there would be less work and the speedometer gears would still be correct.
