Steering Gear

Are A and AA steering gear assemblies interchangeable? My truck is missing most of steering gear.

A and AA are the same. The 2 tooth sectors are better in my mind. Don't pay a lot as you are going to end up rebuilding anyway. Just get one so you can move it around while you try to get it started.

Flatford, what should I expect to pay for one? Looks like I have a couple shafts (2 tooth worms), a pitman arm, light switch rod, steering wheel and not much else. There was a model T column came with the truck? It looks pretty good and complete with steering wheel and spark and throttle rods? I do need to get this thing steerable.

I wouldn't pay over $50 for one. They are on Ebay all the time for over $150 but I have found three on Craigs List and at
swap meets for $40 to $50.

What Bob C said....look at swaps and avoid Ebay. $25.00 to $50.00 tops.
