Lug nuts

Post by David R. »

How tight should lug nuts be? Also, what does the other part of the AA lug wrench look like: or what goes in the hole to turn it with. The one I have is marked Fomoco 80-17035-B

See attached regarding wheel nut wrenches for the AA.

I have not see Ford specifications for how tight a wheel nut should be.

Perfect Neil, thank you. If I can't find a handle I can make one to drawing dimensions!

The only thing I found in Ford bulletins was tighten with supplied handle and don't use extension. Also always tighten with wheel jacked up so nuts center the wheel in the chamfers.
