Newbie with questions

Post by ModelAAfreddie »

Hello. I’m Gene Niles Ca. Long time listener first time caller.
First thanks for answers on last questions about paint colors and mirrors. I have a couple more questions.

1. Are there any people on here from Northern California area? I’m in Niles, which is east bay near San Francisco.
2. Rear fenders for a 1928 model aa flatbed....any around? Will fenders from other model a vehicles fit?
3. If one puts rear fenders on, does it reach all the way to back of cab where running board ends, or is there a piece in between?
4. Anyone have a Side mirror With bracket etc for this vehicle? Is there a rear view mirror accessory that can be added?
5. Is there a decent source for ubolts for attaching flatbed to the frame?

That’s all the questions I can think of for now! Thanks in advance! Gene

Rear fender details are found at https://aafords.com/aa-chassis/aa-16000-fenders/ - you need rear fenders, rear fender brackets, rear fender spacers, long shields, long running boards, #3 running board brackets

3. If one puts rear fenders on, does it reach all the way to back of cab where running board ends, or is there a piece in between?

Long shields and running boards would replace what is there.

5. Is there a decent source for ubolts for attaching flatbed to the frame?

Originals would be needed. There are many different styles - see https://aafords.com/open-bodies/platfor ... etails/#ih

FYI - Your can research the information at https://aafords.com/ regarding answers to many questions.
