Shimming bevel rear end.
Went through a nightmare of swapping out the 6.6 and in the 5.14. Carrier issues, spider issues, riveting etc. Could anyone lead me to instructions on shimming of the '30-'31 bevel gear rears? Those in the service manual seem to be lacking in information. Thanks. Luke

I haven't been able to find much information either. The Service bulletins tell how to set up the pinion
but nothing on the carrier. I've looked in old Motors Truck Repair Manuals and Ford Rear Axle Repair Manual
and nothing on setting up the carrier.
