600 x 20 Tires

Post by stew »

So, I am contemplating buying new tires. When I go to the web sites, for instance, Coker Tires, I can see pictures of the tires that mainly show the tread design, and the sidewalls in all the pictures are plain, they show no manufacturer name on them.
I am asking if anyone can post pictures of the sidewalls of their tires, so I can see what the lettering on them looks like. I saw a nice restored ‘30 Chevy a couple years ago where the tires had ‘Goodrich Silvertown’ in large letters on the sidewalls, but I’m not sure how new those tires were, though they looked new. All tire distributor sites seem to use the same photos of new tires.
Thanks in advance!
Always one bad decision away from a good time.

Here’s a picture of one of my wheels with 600x20 Firestone tires. Not the greatest picture to show all the lettering but still viewable. I bought the tires, flaps and tubes from Coker. They were great to deal with!
