OK, This NOT a timing pin. It is much larger. It was in the boxes of parts from my Early '30 AA project.

It might be the picture but it almost looks like it has left hand threads.

Is it the bolt in the front you stick into the front to set the timing?

It is not the timing pin. It is twice as big.

my thoughts too... only left hand threads i know are the nut that holds the horn waffle on the motor shaft, and the lug nuts....
