Rear spring pivot bolt?

30 AA rear spring rear pivot bolt removal? I removed the cross pin but cannot remove the main pin. Does it unscrew or press out? Has a screwdriver like slot

My guess is that you are referring to AA-5799 pin for the rear spring eye. With the lock pin removed from the seat, the AA-5799 pin slides out either direction. The slot on the end was for aligning the pin for the lock pin. I have had to use lots of head and heavy drivers to get the pin removed (rusted in the seat and the spring eye).

Neil I have several spring pivots part numbers are AA 5778 the difference right to left is the position of the grease fitting I have been trying to send photos to your e mail let me know if you get them
