I want to sandblast the rear drive train (axle, differential, torque tube, brake drums, backing plate, etc). This is a 31 AA. Basically I dropped the running gear from the rear spring and pulled it out.
My question: Besides covering the drive shaft on the front of the torque tube, is there any breather hole or other items I need to protect before I sand blast?

Re: Sandblast a differential
I would be careful about how much sand gets in between the drum and backing plate. I would certainly plan on taking the drums off after sandblasting.
