Can someone direct me to a link that would tell or show what color different engine parts should be painted? Working on a ‘29 AA Truck.
Attaching a photo of a photo. Was a North Dakota truck in its day. Restoring it, and up to painting the engine parts. Used the original engine as the frame and engine numbers match
Thanks!!

Re: What colors? Engine Parts
Gloss black:
Oil pan.
Oil Filler tube and cap.
Distributor.
Crank pulley.
Starter.
Generator.
Front and rear motor mounts.
Accelerator bracket.
Fan.
Japan black. (many use gloss black)
Carburetor
Exhaust manifold:
Cast blast high heat spray paint. (my personal choice)
Ford green:
Everything else.
For a really sharp engine replace all the bolts with the correct raven finish ones from the vendors. Not exceptionally spendy to do and it will really make your engine look nice.
