This 1929 Ford AA Truck as found in the foothills
of El Campo, California around in the early 1970’s
by Bob’s family when they were out motorcycle riding
and on a return visit his Dad made the owner an offer
to buy it which was accepted.
The truck was owned by Arden Dairies which started in
El Monte, California in 1904 and grew to be one
of the largest milk producers in the state.
The truck had several leaf springs added.
The wood bed was lined with tin - soldered -
equipped with water drains and sent out each day
full of ice.
The father is going into assisted care living
so Bob hired me to transport this Family Heirloom
from Bonita, California to Marshall, Wisconsin.
