Does this wood look original?

Post by s147881 »

Taking roof material off Barn Find early thirty gravity dump and found wood in very good condition. The support ribs appear wider than what I have seen. Does anyone have experience to tell if this is original ford? Having trouble adding picture - will need to add it tonight.

It doesn't look overly large to me.

I need to take some more detailed pictures- the bows are quite a bit wider than the replacement ones from Snyder's.

Show the front and rear connections of bows in detail. Is your AA a 1930? The headlight shown appears to be 1930.

OK I'm confused. The original post is from s147881 and all the pictures are from bobmay1 and all the
replies are as if the pictures are from s147881.

S147881 and Bobmay1 are same person. I can't get pictures to load on the AA site so I use TapTalk to easily download pics to the post.

I agree Neil it does appear to have been replaced - most likely in the 50's
