The truck is an unrestored parade vehicle that has been sitting in a pole barn for 50 years. For sentimental reasons it will never be "restored" and will remain as it is right now - a parade vehicle that needs to drive 5 miles at 5 mph once a year.
Putting 4 new Coker tires on it will cost well over $1,000. I don't need a period correct tire pattern or brand name. Is there an affordable tire for this old parade vehicle?

Are there any swap meets in your area? My truck uses only 4 tires ('29 non-dually), and I picked up a set of four for under $200 at a swap meet a couple years ago.

Where are you located. I have some 6.50-20 that have no miles but age cracked. I would let them go cheap but shipping would be costly.

The vehicle is in my old hometown in North Dakota, about 5 miles from the Canadian border. I currently live 1800 miles away from there in eastern Massachusetts. (It's a long distance relationship.) David R., so it looks like the shipping would be from WV to ND?
elfox's suggestion of a swap meet buy is also interesting. I fly into Minneapolis when I visit my hometown. Can anyone suggest a swap meet in the Minnesota area that would attract AA enthusiasts?

One of the largest car show/swap meet weekends is in Iola, Wisconsin, about 3 1/2 hours due east of Minneapolis.
This year the show runs July 6 - 8.
Google ‘Iola Old Car Show’ for more info.
A real variety of things there.
Good Luck !
