worm drive
On a 28 or 29 worm drive rear end, is the worm seperate from the splined shaft or is it all one piece, I have a good worm drive coming but the splined shaft looks in the pictures that the spline is in bad shape. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: worm drive
Hello midnite2336,
The worm and shaft are all one piece (see picture - high speed worm). If you are getting a low speed, then it is not worth spending $'s fixing it.
