Paint color for 29 aa , (BODY)

Post by toolhawk1 »

Ok is the green that I am finding under the dash and on the inside of the doors , the same green as the motor ???? it sure looks the same ! Does the entire inside of cab go the body color , wood , dash..... I am finding conflicting imformation... I know my original color was a dark green that looks identical to the engine color. In 1 book it states before sept.30 all aa trucks were black or k rock moss green. Is this rock moss the engine color and body ?Thanks, I found this , it shows more than 1 greem, http://www.mafca.com/06TECH.html , you will have to click on the paint on the far left

The engine is painted Ford Engine Green. Spray cans of this paint is available at model A parts vendors. This is not the same as rock moss green for the 82-A cab.

The body colors shown on the MAFCA web site are the same as in the Judging Standards. If you want to restore you truck per the standards, then you need to get a copy (available via MAFCA).

The cab interior is painted body color except for the following (painted black):

Door Garnish Mouldings
Door Window Frame Mouldings
Rear Window Frame Moulding

The "Model A Ford Paint & Finish Guide" is also available via MAFCA. It has paint chips of the various colors
