Have 1930 AA new to Fords and restoration in general

Am wondering if there are any serial number on the body and where I might find other Identifying markers also good how to mechanical books
to keep it running

Hello Charles,

The car and truck "VIN" number is on the top side of the drivers side frame rail right about where the brake and clutch pedals are. You have to lift the truck cab off the frame to read the number. This will give you an accurite manufacture date of your truck, the engine number if you are lucky will match, but most often the engine has been replaced.

As for books, there are several available as suppliments to the AA truck. Jim Shields and Les Andrews are two authors that come to mind.
