Those are old tire size designations no longer used. It is the overall dia and width of the tire.
Sizes today are based on the rim dia and tire width. The most common size on the AA's today is 600x20 and I believe 6.50x 20 is also available.
Most of the parts vendors as well as Coker should have the 600x20's and some of the local tire dealers might also be able to get them.

Re: 29 AA WHEEL AND TIRE SIZES HELP ?
A 32 x 6 tire size translates to a 6:00 x 20 in todays market. The '28/'29 AA's used 30 x 5 tires on the front and this translates to a 5:00 x 20. Most AA'ers are using 6:00 x 20 on the front. The wheel stop needs to be lengthened slightly to prevent the 6:00 x 20 tires from hitting the brake rods.
The front and rear wheels are identical.
The front and rear wheels are identical.
