Whats a 85% 1930 Stake Truck worth
Whats a 85% 1930 Stake Truck worth
Found a 1930 Stake truck locally and apparently it has been family owned since new and has never been restored. Truck is in good original condition. Is $9000 a fair price?

Re: Whats a 85% 1930 Stake Truck worth
For an unrestored truck to be worth 9k it would need to be in very excellent condition! Some pictures would be of value to look at. But, 9k sounds like too much for an 85% unit.
It should have the correct Ford sold platform plus all stake racks parts (metal parts and wood good enough for patterns). If it is an after market stake body, then that is worth little. It should have no (or very little) sheet metal damage or rust out. The engine should be running and complete. The wheels should be excellent as well.
