Well we took that old AA out for a spin this evening. Sure was sweet. Everything just running real smooth. Then the sh*t hit the fan. She just started to cough, spit, sputter and a miss. Thought maybe some dirt from the tank or something got into the carb. I had just stuck a rebuilt on it and it was running so sweet. So I played with the gav while Phil was driving. Didn't do us any good. Limped her home to the garage, lifted the hood. She was a running something a fierce. Tried readjusting the carb, did no good. Started shorting out the plugs. Noticed gas coming from the carb, now that just isn't right I say. Well, short out one and two and she dies her death. Three and four, don't make nothing happen. Then out of the cormer of my eye, I see fumes coming out of the carb sometimes. So now we know what the problem is. Only thing is, it's effecting three and four. Now I've seen it on one cylinder, but not on two at the same time. Learn something new every day they say. Should have took the engine down before install. Another lesson learned. So we done pull her top off and her side panel, and sure enough there was them two valves stuck up in the air, pretty as you please. We'll go back at her in a couple of days. Got a cope coming in. Needs radiator work. Just thought I would give you guys a update on getting this AA running again. Thanks again for listening and answering our questions. Jon
