How Much 600W Oil Do I need to....

Post by Bradshaw »

Fill up the 30/31 style rear axle, the 4 speed AA transmission, and a 29 Warford??

I drained nearly a gallon of thick oil from the rear axle, but not sure how full it was. The seals were bad and brakes were soaked.

I'm estimating 2 gallons should be enough for all three units.

Anyone know the capacity of the transmissions and rear axle??

Also, need to know where to get the stuff. I've seen it in quart containers in the catalogs, does anyone sell it by the gallon??

Thanks, Bradshaw

I'm not sure on the qty needed, but I purchased a 5gal pail of the following oil. I think I posted a message on Ahooga a while back on where to get this stuff.
