Hello:
A friend and fellow club member who does a fair amount of work on club members Model A's has asked me to help him research a question regarding AA Ford brake systems.
The question centers around whether the AA Ford ever had a vacuum assist? I understand one of our members wants to add a vacuum assist and there is some question as to whether this was ever a "stock" item??
Thank you in advance for any input.
AA Vacuum Assist ?
Re: AA Vacuum Assist ?
I believe they did but don't know if it was a Ford item or not.
It seems I have seen a picture of one and it mounted to the right side of the trans and had a rod that went to the cross shaft.
I can't remember where I saw it.

Re: AA Vacuum Assist ?
Ford did not offer a vacuum assist. I have seen one AA chassis which had a vacuum set up.
