Front axel - whats the same as the cars?

Hello,
I have a March 29 AA truck, singe rear wheels, worm drive, dual high, metal 6 vent hole wheels.

I'm going to be starting the restoration of the front axle and steering components from the pitman arm off the gearbox to the wheels.

Now Ive heard that the front axle is the same as the cars. What is the same and what is AA specific on these trucks? Obviously the wheels and bolt pattern are bigger but what else?

Is the spring the same? Same number of leafs?

[b]AA-3105 Spindle Changeover (2/15/29)[/b]

AA trucks used A-3105 spindles and corresponding bearings through February 15th 1929. In April 1929, Ford did a recall to change all AA’s with the A-3105 spindles to the newer AA-3105 spindles. The new AA-3105 spindles may have started as early as Nov. 1st 1928.

Ford Indianapolis Service Letters (references):

April 10, 1929 – AA-3105 Spindle Bodies – indicates that AA trucks built previous to Nov. 1st 1928 were equipped with A spindles and bearings and are to be swapped out with the heaver AA-3105 spindles and bearings.

July 24, 1929 – Front Spindle Changeover on Trucks - indicates that the spindles are to be changed out on all AA’s built prior to Feb. 15th.

October 18, 1929 – AA-3105 Spindle Changeovers – indicates that this changeover is for all AA trucks which were delivered up to February 15th 1929. If the AA has the former type spindle bodies, then the changeover should be made.

April 22, 1930 – AA-3105-AR Spindle Body – indicates that the gratis replacement was now cancelled.

I for got the front spring! It is unique (heaver leaves and 12 of them).

ahh thanks! yea its very hard to tell what my front spring was, its collapsed and badly pitted...
