axle and trans lube , what I found !!
Ok I live near the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Mi. and have been going there the past several weeks to go in to thier service garage where they have at least 6 AA work trucks (i have pics ), I have made friends with one of the guys and they let me come see the trucks when I get stuck or need a visual on a part , these trucks do work every day all day , maybe not hard but all !!!! day!!! , I got on the subject of axle lube and they use LUBRIPLATE SPO-277 in the rear worm gear and trans, called the co. and they said it is a 140 weight lube , The Henry Ford said they have using this for years with no problems , I ordered 2 gallons , $36 a gallon , will have it in and on the road by this Sunday if all goes well. Hello Ray,
I would like to see the pictures. I didn't see these AA's when I was there many years ago. If you happen to have these pictures in high resolution, please send them to my email.
