frame Welt installation for flatbed truck
Does the frame welt that goes under the fenders and the cab go all the way to the end of the rear frame? I have a flat bed and was wondering if the frame welt is installed under the wood sills. Is the original one continous piece from the front to the back?

Re: frame Welt installation for flatbed truck
The frame welt is an anti-squeak between the frame and fenders/aprons. It terminates where the apron leaves the frame. Note in the picture that I put frame welt on the body bracket to insure the bracket is level with the frame. I also put the weld on the hood clip bracket.
The cargo body does not have frame welt originally.
