Installing Glass - 82A cab.

1) Was the rear glass installed prior to painting the cab during origanal assembly

2) What is the correct process for installing the windshield? I have purchased the rubber and the glass. The rubber looks much wider then the grove in the frame.

The rear glass was installed after painting. The glass frame was painted black. I have not installed windshield glass before.
