upper radiator hose

Post by Royal »

Newby-first post!
Just bought 31 AA Stake Truck (82-B 187-A 186-B) Will post pictures and info soon. Truck has been in storage 5 yrs and after changing fluids and new battery, started and runs. Initial problem was leaking water pump. Changed it and upper hose. Now leaking at the upper clamp. Then read in my first Double A'er (and AA Truck) "there is a longer upper radiator hose" (AA-8260)! Opps, used one for a car. OK, now can't find any reference to a longer hose in any of the parts catalogs.
Where do I get one?

FYI - The 187-A platform would have the 189-A stake racks (not 186-B which is for the 185-A platform - 1930 AA157).

The longer upper radiator hose is 9-1/4" long as per page E-4 of the Judging Standards. I don't know where to get this. But, try calling Berts Model A Center at 800-321-1931.

Most parts houses carry straight hose and will cut it to the length you want.
