My pleasure Russ. The only thing about the bed is the fact that the floor boards are butted up against each other and when the wood begins to move it's going to pooch up the seams. Not good. I guess if one kept it in a temp/humidity controlled enviornment it would be ok, but otherwise???? That's one of the reasons for the bed strips, as I know it, is to provide room for movement. An interesting bed just the same.

Ooops, wrong bed that I'm talking about. I saw another AA for sale with a homemade set-up that was really done nicely, but for the exception of the above. If I can find it again I'll post it.

Here's the other truck I was referring to:

The fan belt looks a little loose. All in all a nice truck. Interesting bed too.

Hey Art. I was just admiring the low stake sides on the truck in your avatar. Is that your rig? If so, i'd sure like to see any pics you've got of it. Another great lookin' truck. Also looks like the front end has been dumped a few inches, no?

Removed three leaves in the front, hence the sleek modern dumped look, but with no load?that's pritty much what i get
As for the low sides on the bed, did't find the correct bed yet tho!kinda like this smaller one.
Then the pictures, most were on my boy's computer I should have sent them to my email when i was on the boat in PV now it is on its way to La PAZ,maybe he can send them from there!!no wifi on the boat!

At the present time MPG is an important issue when purchasing a vehicle.

I'M looking for somewhere in the mid 30s at HWY speeds.
