131 & 157 Chassis for sale

Post by Tinlizzy31 »

I have an early 30 AA 131 chassis and a late 31 AA 157 Chassis for sale make offer. Also some misc AA chassis parts available. Let me know your needs. Like to find a good home for these left over parts from multiple 30/31 trucks used in restoring my '31 AA157 stake bed.

If people would put their city in their profile we would know where they are from.

Note the humor expressed. If I were more familiar with the website, I would have added a profile. I'm in Verdi, Nevada 10 miles west of Reno. Sorry for the oversight. Hopefully, we are all in the game to help each other keep this hobby viable.

I once hauled an AA frame home in the back of an F 250. Needless to say the steering was very easy. The AA frame overhang really took the weight off the front wheels.

All:

Years ago, I used a 1964 Chevy 1/2-ton "short bed" (6ft.) pickup with a lumber rack to haul a 1931 AA 157" W.B. frame to and from the sandblaster. Took some strong boys to get it up there, but we did it!

lol i used our 14 ft aluminum boat trailer to haul a bare AA frame, wasnt much heavier than the boat+ gear we usually towed with it.

fit amazingly good even between the tailight sticks. then nailed a 2x6 to a 4x4 and layed it across the square tube spine of the trailer and layed the frame on it. put 4 10D nails in the board to keep the frame rails on it and th eboard from sliding out. 4 straps holding the frame on and away we go!
