The A13406 bracket Snyders sells is for 1929 and later. The photo of the truck above shows the 1928 style tail light. This tail light and bracket are one piece, that is the licence plate bracket and the back of the tail light is one piece. Sound confusing? On the top of the tail light on the truck above is the word Duolight. In 1929 when the replaced it with the teacup shaped tail light they changed the name on the top to read Duolamp. A13406 fits the Duolamp.

My guess is that you are looking for the support AA-13472. See attached - note the part id (raised).

And, yes, Chris' link looks to be that support. It likely does not have the part id.

Thanks Chris for the links, didn't think to try Synder's.

Thanks again Neil for helping guide me through my rebuild.

If anyone has an original bracket w/ the raised part number, I would be interested.

My Early '30 (May 1930) has the three holes in the frame on both sides.

slavalley, I can see that the information being talked about is becoming a little off your subject. For details regarding Tail Lamp Brackets (Supports) you can refer to https://aafords.com/aa-chassis/aa-13510-electrical/. This link will provide another link to download an "AA Truck Talk - AA Lamps & Wiring" article (published April 2011). Page 3 starts the information regarding "Brackets (Supports)". I hope this helps.

Wow Neil, you are amazing, another great write-up!

My truck is an early 30, so it appears I should be looking for part A-13470-B d3 (design 3) for use with the teacup style tail lamp, as you picture in figure 3b (also attached).

Note that A-13470-B is an A chassis bracket (support). So, chances are very likely that you can find one.
