Sunny:
I have a 28/29 radiator and shell. I've had them for so many years, I don't recall exactly where I got it. I've had several AA's just for robbing parts off of. I seem to recall it came off of what was left of a 30/31 AA chassis, but the radiator and shell are definitely 28/29. I have no idea about the condition of the radiator. It doesn't have a cap. The shell is mounted on the radiator. I don't know if they are A or AA. How do I determine that? I'm south of you in Ojai (Ventura County).

I believe the AA is a four core radiator.

Chris:
I know the 30/31 AA radiator is a four core radiator, I just wasn't certain about the 28/29 radiators. I'll take a closer look at what I've got. What's the difference in the 28/29 A and 28/29 AA radiator shells?

Truck shells are painted. Car shells are plated.Drew Mashburn wrote:Chris:

Chris:
If there was any plating on this old shell, it's long gone! Would a four-core radiator for an AA be wider (thicker) than an A radiator? If so, then..........would the AA shell be wider on the sides than an A shell? If so, what would be the measurements for a 28/29 AA shell?
