Wanted 20 X 6:00/6:50 tubes and flaps

Need source or 6 good tubes/flaps for my AA truck tires, any help or info appreciated, Bruce in southern OHIO 45669

Have rims powder coated now, anyone with tubes or a better source for tubes let me know, $ 32.00 each is what I am finding, there has to be a more economical source, also need two 6:00 X 20 steer tires, thanks Bruce in southern OHIO

Got my two new tires from Tom at Synder's 6:00 X 20 Denman, had 4 Denman tires for rear, 6:50 X 20 that came with my 28 wire wheels, had my 5 hole Buds powder coated and I painted the retainer rings aluminum Rust O lum paint color, lug nuts and old screw on hub cabs, ( need new hub cabs ) Got the new tubes ( 6 ) from Coker Tires, used old flaps from tires. Will post photo's as soon as I get new computer to load up, old computer laid down on me. Drove truck today with new tires out my road and on to local paved state route, turned around at church lot and several people pulled in to look at AA dump, home and parked. Is there a spacer for duals on truck or do they just face up together like I have now, thanks Bruce

I have been told two things regarding spacers. I'm not sure which is accurate, maybe both are.

I was told you need the spacer if you are going to use 1930 wheels without the raised center as the tires will rub when using the bigger tire.

I was also told by one of the Model A shops that the spacer was used by Ford to reinforce the wheel center on the 1930 wheels and was not intended as a spacer for the duals.

My 1930 dump had duals from the factory with the earlier non raised center Budd wheel and the original size tires. So that must have worked with the smaller tires.

I went up to the 6.50 tires, and (based on advice from guys that know a lot more then I do), used four late 1930-1931 raised center wheels so the bigger tires did not rub.

Actually the tires don't rub anything as they are locked together. They will touch each other though.

Okay. My error in words. Insert "touch for "rub".

Duals have a "no touching policy". They will heat up if they touch, since they will expand and contract and rub as they contact the pavement. Kaboom!

I was told the same thing by a commercial truck tire shop and was then advised to use the raised center wheels which I did. They did say if the tires touch each other they would "rub" when driving causing the tires to heat up

You put it more clearly then I did. I was admonished about "rub" versus "touch" in a previous post and did not fell like arguing the point.
