U joint needed
Wanted,
The u joint that connects the dual hi trans to the rear drive shaft.
I think it has a small "normal" 6 spline on one end and a larger 8 spline to fit the larger
AA drive shaft.
Thanks Steve

Re: U joint needed
Try Girards Salvage Yard its in Wichendone, MA. They have 4 AA's and I know at least one had the HI LO setup.

You could also try Bert's in Colorado. I was able to pick one up from them when I needed one last year.

Re: U joint needed
That is not the u-joint he needs. It goes between the trans and coupling shaft on
a BB. The listing is wrong as the BB drive line is bigger than the AA.

Steve:
I agree with Bob. I doubt that the U-joint on eBay is the one you need for coupling to your dual-high transmission. The one on eBay is just like the one in my early '31 157" W.B. Stakebed. It links the tranny to the coupling-shaft that's between the tranny and the torque tube. Have you posted a photo of the U-joint you need? Do you have the old Uie? If so, you might want to post a photo of it.
