I have a feb 29 AA truck and need a pair of front spring U-bolts.

Howdy oldtimetowing, mine needed to be replaced too. I had an off-road truck shop bend me up a new set. Didn't cost much. You'll need to drill your own cotter pin holes though.

Were these the same as the model A's? I just wondering because the front axle seems the same except for the hubs and drums.

Building a set is my other/next option if I can't find a set. Would really like a set of originals!
Model A and AA u-bolts are different, the AA's are thicker and about 7/8" longer to comensate for two more spring leafs.

Oldtimetowing, If you make you u-bolts for your front springs and need to drill hole for cotter pin centered. Go to my post page go to page 9, Sept 12, 09 for JIg information! Hope this is helpful! Shelby, Louisiana.

oldtimetowing, Here are some more pictures of the jig the I posted earlier. These show after lining up bit, using a step bit to center hole at where you have prelocated. Drill through threads with step bit. (step bit will not walk when contacting the threads) You can also use a center punch to mark the location, but the step bit will be more accurate for centering. On the u-bolts shim up to level, as in picture, with jig to have holes square,or even
